Disneyland Paris Reveals New Vision for Its Second Park in Historic Transformation

Disneyland Paris unveiled plans for the Walt Disney Studios Park, groundbreaking entertainment and detailed the next steps in the extensive makeover of the Disney Hotels and the reimagining of Disney Village.

This historic transformation, fueled by a two-billion-euro investment, aims not only to refresh Walt Disney Studios Park but also to expand its boundaries significantly. New themed areas are joining the recently launched Marvel Avengers Campus and Worlds of Pixar, promising to double the park's footprint and establish Disney Adventure World as an unmissable destination for a full day of exploration and adventure.

WALT DISNEY STUDIOS PARK

Walt Disney Studios Park, the second theme park at Disneyland Paris, has consistently evolved since its grand opening in 2002. Originally designed to give visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the worlds of cinema, animation, and television, the park has shifted towards offering more immersive experiences. This transformative journey began in 2007 with major attractions like The Twilight Zone™ Tower of Terror, Toy Story Playland, and Ratatouille: The Adventure.

Expanding the World of Disney

In recent years, the park has embraced some of Disney's most beloved franchises with the introduction of the Worlds of Pixar and the Marvel Avengers Campus. The anticipation continues to build with the upcoming addition inspired by "Frozen," which promises to bring Elsa and Anna's enchanting world to life. This is part of Disney’s broader strategy to create immersive worlds that resonate deeply with visitors.

Adventure Bay: A Spectacle of Water and Light

One of the most ambitious additions is Adventure Bay. This 70,000 m³ body of water will not only offer stunning views but also become a hub for entertainment. Equipped with the latest technology, it will host breathtaking aquatic shows featuring fountains, music, lights, and special effects, ensuring a magical experience for all.

A Glimpse into the Future

The park's allure will continue to grow with a new immersive world, currently under development by Disney Imagineers. This addition is expected to enhance the park's charm significantly in the coming years. More details about this exciting project will be shared in the future.

A New Beginning: Disney Adventure World

Starting in April 2024, visitors will be transported into the heart of a vibrant, open-air contemporary movie studio as they enter the park. This experience will culminate in an exclusive Hollywood-style gala evening, celebrating a blockbuster premiere under the stars. The "World Premiere" soundstage, currently a backdrop for Hollywood Boulevard, will be transformed into an homage to Hollywood's grand cinemas, set to debut in spring 2025.

From Day to Night: The Magic Continues

Exiting the World Premiere, visitors will find themselves in the World Premiere Plaza, an area inspired by the elegant Art Deco theaters of Broadway and the West End. This area will come alive at night, adorned with beautiful lights and continuing to celebrate Disney and Pixar stories.

A Pathway to Fantasy: Adventure Way

Linking the new entrance to the immersive worlds of the park, Adventure Way is a verdant central promenade surrounded by Disney-themed gardens. It invites guests to explore and enjoy attractions like Raiponce Tangled Spin, inspired by the beloved animated film "Tangled," which features a magical lantern scene.

Culinary Magic: The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge

Before their adventure concludes, visitors can dine at The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge. This elegant table-service restaurant offers a breathtaking view of Adventure Bay and an opportunity to meet some favorite Disney Princesses.
